Personal Statement
Howdy. My name is Zach Giblin and I'm a Nashville born and raised hockey player. I've been playing hockey since I was 4 years old and it's been my life ever since. Once I hit High School I decided it was time to up my game and take it to the next level. Just my freshman year I was still playing A when I decided I wanted more. I made the AA team the next year and finished second on the team in points. The following year I led my team in points while being a consistent middle six player. In high school I led my team in points all three seasons being the alternate captain my sophomore year and the captain my junior year, leading our team to the best season in school history. I've now played two years of juniors playing in the EHLP winning first-team all-division awards, in the NA3 with the Mason City Toros of the North Iowa Bulls organization and the Texas RoadRunners, and now heading into my final season here with the Nashville Spartans of the USPHL. I'm hoping that I can bring my experience and knowledge to a brand new young program so we can hit the ground running with a great future to come.
