Jordan Jaramillo '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jordan Jaramillo and I am 16 years old. I've been playing hockey since I was 7 years old. I love to play hockey and I love to play guitar. So far I have had a good and fun hockey career. I am playing for the Utah Golden Eagles 16U AA team. I am also playing for Bountiful Independent high school team. Last year in Division 2 I was 3^rd in scoring and top 10 in assists for Utah high school hockey.  This year our team moved up to Division 1 and I am currently 6^th scoring and 11^th in assists for Utah high school hockey. I love playing hockey and competitive hockey is my favorite. Playing guitar is my big hobby. I play guitar, bass, drums and I can pick up stringed instruments fairly quickly.  I want to make a career out of music or audio engineering so I would love to go to a college that offers a great music and audio program along with hockey. I have played guitar and been in lessons since I was 5 years old.  When it comes to music I love to do engineering and recording. I have a home project studio. I’m still working on getting more stuff for my studio and expanding, but for now I can record and mix my songs. I’m still learning but I am getting better. I have ADHD so school can be hard but I always get A’s and B’s. I'm working hard and doing everything I can to get better at hockey and guitar and school. I am also a Level two Ice Hockey Official. I have been a referee for 3 years and was recently invited to an Official’s camp in Dallas Texas. I have a serious dedication to music and to hockey. They are the two big components that make up my life besides school and my family and friends.
