Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Braylen!, I am looking to earn a degree at college, while also playing the sport I love which is hockey. I've played hockey for fourteen years, more recently I've been invited to play travel hockey with the Northern Vermont Wildcats in the off season. In the regular season I'm a starter on my high school team the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds. I can play all three forward positions. I'm a natural born leader helping my teammates throughout the years, becoming a mentor to the up and coming freshmen. I understand roles on various hockey teams I've played on, I can play on a top six role just as well as a bottom six role. I'd like to think I'm the glue on my teams (including soccer). I also maintain a 3.7 GPA while taking college prep, accelerated, and advanced placement classes. I'm also involved in my school community being apart of National Honors Society and Student Council. I'm a driven athlete that wants to push others around me on any team I'm on. To me, failure is not an option.
