I believe my leadership on and off the ice make me a HUGE asset to any team. My athleticism, character, and hunger to perform gives any team a dedicated player eager to contribute (and if extended the opportunity) lead the team's success.
My positivity is infectious as my drive to push myself and teammate growth. That push for growth takes many forms: 1) asking for advice + listening to coaching and making the requested adjustments -- 2) on ice at center position talking through playmaking strategy -- 3) off ice celebrating teammates success and "talking up" team success in preparing for the next game.
I love the game of hockey because of the thrill of it. The physical aspect and athletic aspect of hockey is why I love it so much. In school I thrive to keep my grades up and I do really good at it. This last year I got a 4.0 gpa and was inducted into the National Honor Society. I feel that all of this makes me a great candidate and teammate for a college hockey team.
