Personal Statement
I am a 6'3" 195lb Goaltender, who is considerably faster than other goalies in his conference. I am a varsity runner in cross country, and I am a varsity track and field athlete as a pole vaulter and distance runner. My Save Percentage ended at about a 91.3% senior year and 90.9% my junior year. My Goals Against Average ended at 2.31 my senior year and 3.17 my junior year. I have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old and recieved 2nd team all-conference my junior and senior year. I participated in the 18u Green Bay Bobcats club hockey team my junior and senior years of high school, and in the CCM World Invite 2018&19 and the 2018 National Tier 2 USA Hockey tournament. This year (2019) I recieved the high school Hobey Baker Award on my De Pere Voyageurs High School team. I can offer any team a strong source of leadership from the defensive zone out, even though I was never a captain. I have never been shy to offer important guidance to my team. On top of that, I am an incredibly hardworking athlete who is willing to do what it takes to make it to the top. In my free time, before, and even after practice, you can find me on the ice working on fundamental movements or in the weight room making gains. I would like to go to school in the northern portion of the country, but I am not opposed to seeing other options by any means. I like big urban area schools but like I said before I would not be opposed to see other options. I desire a college with a psychology program, business program, and ideally spanish program. Realistically speaking I would like to recieve playing time as a freshman and eventually, over time, earn a starting position. It is also a major goal of mine to play at the highest level of competition I can. As I have on all the teams I have played for thus far, I would love if I could leave a lasting positive impact on any team I play for. I would also like anyone I meet to know that I'm a goofy kid. Other than that, all I have to say is that I am thankful for the time of whomever reads this, and I am thankful for my parents and coaches getting me to this point in my life.
