Eric Horein '22 Recruiting Profile

As a 2022 high school graduate at 6’2” and 210 lb, I am a skilled two-way power forward with the combination of speed, strength, and natural ability to put the puck in the net.  My goal is to play hockey at the collegiate level and ultimately find the right college match with the highest level of competition I can achieve. 

This past season I stepped up by completing my senior year of high school living with a billet family and playing in the USPHL, Premier League for the Wisconsin River Kings.  I learned that I can do this, and am far from reaching the pinnacle of my hockey development.  I am a disciplined, rule following, teammate who does his job in the locker room, weight room, and on the ice. 

I put on my first pair of hockey skates at the age of three. The patience of my young hockey career has paid off, starting as a C team player, and developing to be a topline contributor for my Freshman and Sophomore high school seasons.  I have proven if adversity is a challenge, I will conquer it. I am looking for the next best opportunity to develop my skills and be a leader.
