I grew up playing club hockey since I was 4 but wishing the last couple years I've really grown as a player. While I play left wing typically, I am fine with any forward position. I always have played A hockey for my local team and then played for AA teams in the spring or fall. I've gone to state 3 times with my local team but never finished higher than 6th. Typically I was one of the best players and leaders on said local team. Within recent years I had the ability to play AAA for the Madison capitols but due to money and time problems I opted out. I work very hard and I hope to try out and make Team Wisconsin next season. I know I had the talent and ability to make it because of previous teammates whom I was much better than that made it. Last season I played highschool for McFarland but couldn't finish the season due to mono. Over the last year, I’ve begun to work much harder on and off the ice along with changing playing style and recently I’ve begun scoring much more and becoming more and more of a factor in games. Along with working more, I’ve begun working out much more
I am a hard worker who comes to practice every day ready to get better. I never complain and try as much as I can to solve conflict rather than cause it. I was typically the captain for my club team and I started roughly half the games as a freshman and put up 9 points in 18 games. I had a very disfunctional team but I managed to stay out of the conflict and help solve some of it.
While I have always loved hockey, I always have also played baseball and soccer, succeeding at both of them. I was typically top scorer for my local soccer team and played second base in baseball. I also love to play piano and have played it since kindergarten.
I am a good student who usually gets good grades although I had a rough freshman year. Throughout middleschool I was at the 3.7-3.9 gpa range but in highschool I dropped to around a 3.0 but I'm determined to get the gpa back up again.
Hockey has taught me many important lessons. It helped me become a team player and help everyone out. It's helped me make many friends throughout the years along with showing me how to help others out and learn how to become a leader instead of a follower.
