2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
My name is Dennis Van Der Wal and I am a 2022 midfielder. I attend Redwood High School and play varsity lacrosse. When I am not playing for my high school I am playing for my travel team Alcatraz Outlaws. My future goals for college is to secure the best combination of competitive lacrosse and academic excellence. I feel I am an asset to my team because of my dedication to working hard and going 100 percent on and off the field, also my ability to keep our team in a positive mindset.
I have been playing lacrosse for almost 10 years now and I learn to respect and love the game more and more every year.
