Damon Thompson '20 Recruiting Profile

I see my college years filled with challenging academic and athletic pursuits. I look forward to continuing to play the sport I love and be a positive contributor to the team and the university. I am a 6'1 guard that has played competitively since 5th grade. I have a 3.8 cumulative GPA and I hold myself to very high academic standards. I have a very strong work ethic which I believe will help me in reaching these goals. I have had to work my way into making teams without the help of my parents connections or their knowledge of my sport. I will always work harder than the guy next to me. I am in the gym late at night and training on Sundays when it's the only day off during the high school season.  My character speaks well for me. I am extremely respectful to my coaches and teammates and I always represented my school/clubs very well. I have been told many times that I am very coachable and I will always do what's best for my team and school.
