Personal Statement
When it comes to anything and everything that I encounter in my life, I make sure to dedicate one-hundred percent of myself in order to achieve my goals. In school, I give my studies my all and make sure to take the classes that will challenge my capabilities in order to prepare myself for the future. On the field, I give it my all whether it is a practice or a game, playoff or not, I play with everything I have. I am always very open to being critiqued on my playing as I want to make the adjustments to change my game for the better.
When it comes to the specifics, I am a very aggressive defender. I love to get out on my attackman's hands and pressure the ball a bit further out, not trying to get that loose ball, but waiting for the attack to mess up. Although aggressive, I consider myself patient, waiting for the attack to make a mistake before going for a big check. This patience comes from lots of practice when it comes to defensive approaches on attackmen, especially when sliding.
The most important thing I want to convey to coaches is that when you recruit me, you are going to be recruiting a player who's determined to outwork everyone on the field and a player willing to mold his game to the liking of a coach. I can't wait to start my collegiate journey, academically and athletically.
