Personal Statement
I would like to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and one day have my general contractor's license and have my own subcontracting or general contracting company.
Lacrosse is a real passion for me. I love every aspect of the game. I've been playing since I was around 12 in various leagues, summer camps, club teams and high school varsity and it doesn't ever get old for me.
I have a keen sense of my strengths and weaknesses as a player and am very coachable, always looking for help in improving my game. Other sports such as football have also taught me other disciplines that have helped improve me as an overall athlete and a better lacrosse player.
From an academic standpoint, I have had challenges learning to work through and around my learning differences with dyslexia. I think of it as a difference rather than a disability because there are many strengths that come with being dyslexic and its part of who I am. It has taught me how to work through adversity and not let what others say or think bring me down.
I would love the opportunity to play college lacrosse and believe that I would be an asset to any program.
