Personal Statement

Playing sports has been a major part of my early life; whether on the lacrosse field, basketball court, or competing in a football game. These opportunities have taught me principles of competition, the value of a team and to excel at what I'm doing.

Academics have also been stressed to me by my parents and influential adults and I understand what they are trying to impress on me. Because academics and sports have many similar requirements, I would like to continue with both to reach my full potential as a student-athlete. My college plan is to compete in sports at the highest level I can master and to graduate with a degree preparing me for a successful adult life.
