Personal Statement
I am the oldest of three brothers in an active duty Marine Corps family. We've moved frequently, but my parents and extended family have always provided me with stability while teaching me to embrace change. My experience as a military child has taught me respect, resiliency, and sacrifice. I played football, basketball, and swam, but lacrosse is the one sport I have played consistently for the past 9 years. Two years ago, my high school team needed offenders. I was asked to transition from defense to attack because I am left hand dominate. Then, I started taking face-offs. I am passionate at this position and have trained consistently for over 2.5 years. I have also trained with Penn State face-off player Hudson Bohn for almost two years. I have been working hard to improve the area of my Midfield/Dmid game as well. What makes me different is that I am adaptable; I have played all positions for many different coaches and with many different teams in three different states. I am looking for a college and lacrosse program that share my goal of developing as a person, student, and lacrosse player.
