COMPETITOR. COMPETENT. CONFIDENT.
I am a 17 year old, 5'11", 190 pound, powerful midfielder who is committed to playing for a school that equally emphasizes academic and lacrosse excellence. My goal is to continue to be an impactful contributor to my team as a high performing lacrosse player while in college.
I love to compete. My experience, as a three-sport varsity athlete, in lacrosse, football, and soccer, is evidence of my athletic versatility, mental and physical toughness, and ability to develop new skills and adapt to different positions faster and more effectively. Being a multi-sport athlete has elevated my lacrosse IQ, giving me a better understanding of lacrosse strategy, enhancing my ability to observe and assess a game situation, and supplying me the experience of smart, play-making decisions.
Academics matter to me. Not only do I compete on the field, I am a competitor in the classroom. I challenge myself with a rigorous academic curriculum at a private school, where 100% of the students go on to attend college. As a junior, I am taking a strenuous academic load, including three AP classes, while competing in three varsity sports. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.93/4.00.
My desire for learning also applies outside the classroom. I am committed to my personal and athletic growth. I continuously strive to be a young man of outstanding character while developing my lacrosse skills. I am open to honest feedback and am willing to work hard.
I am a servant leader on and off the field. I understand the importance of leading by example through my words and actions. I believe in being humble, putting my team first, and giving respect to coaches, referees, teammates, and opponents. On the field, I have served as team captain in lacrosse, soccer, and football. Off the field, I am the junior class vice president for student government, and I volunteer as a student teacher for economically disadvantaged students and as a math and science tutor.
