I started playing lacrosse my freshman year and I had to put in extra work to raise my skill level to that of my teammates, I played wall ball day after day and learned almost all my dodges off of YouTube. All that work paid off and I was one of the better players and was able to start on the D2 Varsity team my freshman year. It was a rough year for our team but I knew that every-time I stepped on to the field I had to get better and thats what I did.
I am now playing my Junior season and my goals are just to keep improving my skills as well as my lax IQ. It has been another rough season for our team, we are a growing program but it has probably been personally my best season and I know that if we continue to work as a team eventually we will get into a rhythm.
My goal is to find a university where I can contribute to both a strong academic program and a competitive lacrosse team.
