Personal Statement
I have played lacrosse for 8 years and cannot picture my life without lacrosse. I have a high lacrosse IQ and have played all positions throughout my career, but have been playing FOGO and LSM for the past 4 years. I am a highly adaptable individual that strives to get the most out of every situation. I accept nothing but my best and am not discouraged by failure; rather, I am motivated. I am an enthusiastic teammate that leads by example. Given my physical stature, I know I must play with more tenacity and determination than the person across from me. I have adopted an unshakeable, never-give-up attitude that will stay with me as I continue to grow.
I am very competitive both on the field and in the classroom; I use the self-discipline that lacrosse and other sports have taught me to achieve excellent grades and pursue the most challenging course work. Though I am looking to play lacrosse in college, a strong education is a necessity. I am seeking a rigorous academic environment with an excellent lacrosse program. Playing college lacrosse would be a dream come true for me, but I don't like to view it as a dream because dreams are just that: dreams. I am working to make it a reality.
