I have been playing lacrosse for seven years, the first three at attack and defense and the last four as a full-time goalie. I have played Varsity both my freshman and sophomore years of high school. I started every game of my freshman season but the first and returned to starting as a sophomore after missing or splitting a few early games because of a broken thumb. I have good size and strength, with quick hands and excellent stick skills. I have a high lacrosse IQ and strive to quarterback our defensive play on every possession. I am tough and competitive in goal and fight hard to make every save. I intend to be a leader in the locker room and hope to be named a captain of our Varsity team.
My desire for college lacrosse is to play for a competitive smaller college program, at DII or DIII. My ideal college is a liberal arts school with a great academic reputation. In college, like in high school, it is very important to me that I maintain close relationships with my teachers and my coaches, which helps me achieve my best. I am interested in the college that is best for me from both a lacrosse and academic standpoint.
Thank you for considering me for your team.
