Personal Statement
Since the beginning of high school, academics have always been priority number one. Though heavily persisted by my teacher mother, I've taken pride in academic excellence. Fortunately, I could attend a private school for higher athletic and academic opportunities. In the classroom, I challenge myself with a rigorous curriculum. I've taken eight honors courses and four AP courses landing an unweighted GPA of 3.5.
Athletically, I'm primarily a dual sport athlete. Since a young kid, I played the highest levels of hockey, traveling all around New England every weekend. However, in recent years my focus has shifted to lacrosse. I've played since sixth grade and immediately fell in love. I'm a pass-first type of player who, ironically enough, loves to score. For my high school (Kents Hill School), I've been a four-year starter and a two-year captain. Last year I tallied 24 goals and 36 assists in our fifteen-game season, earning me first-team all-conference. I've made tremendous improvement within the previous two years of playing club lacrosse, which I would like to take to the collegiate level.
I appreciate the interest you have in me as a student-athlete! Please feel free to reach out.
