Personal Statement
Team above all. I have been a dual-sport (football and lacrosse) athlete since I was four years old. I recently transitioned from goalie to faceoff specialist after 11 years to fill a need on my team. I have dedicated myself to studying and learning the faceoff position to be the best player I can be. I arrive early and stay after practices working on things my coach tells me to improve on. I stay and work with other players helping them to better themselves.
If you asked me my best personal traits, I would say kindness and coachability. I received the student citizenship award my freshman year. I'm very involved in community service, but my favorite is working with Night To Shine, the foundation that puts on proms worldwide for people with disabilities. I am an exceptional student who commits time to my studies. I want to play college ball at any level and graduate with a degree in either engineering or cyber-related fields.
