A focused leader who is passionate about competing is how I would best describe myself. I am a leader on and off of the field by setting priorities and staying focused on what is important to me- school, lacrosse and family.
I started lacrosse at age five and began playing high-level club lacrosse at age nine years old. I started with my current club lacrosse team API Diamondbacks at nine years old and have stayed with the team my entire lacrosse career. I enjoy playing with my Diamondback teammates and respect the coaches' vision.
If I could listen in to my coaches' conversations about me, I believe most of my coaches would say that I am a coachable and determined player who loves and understands the game. I give my 100% in every game, and I encourage my teammates to put in the work and give 100%, as well. I believe my teachers would say the same thing about me with respect to my work ethic in class. I give my 100% in every class.
This past summer at the IL Invitational, Inside Lacrosse has described me as " look[ing] to be the most dangerous Class of 2022 midfielder at the ILRI on Tuesday, looking the part athletically and drawing the slide more often than not. A Severn (Md.) product, Queen put up a two-goal performance in one particular game and impressed with his split dodge, step-down and confidence as a regular initiator from the midfield..... Queen possesses a lot of the qualities that you'd want in a promising Division I midfield prospect." IL Invitational, July 2020.
I look forward to taking lacrosse to the next level at the college-level. It's been such a huge part of my life so far, I look forward to finding a lacrosse home where I can keep playing and keep moving to the next level.
