Personal Statement
Hi Coach,
My name is Alex Manos, and I am a 17-year old senior at Falmouth High School.
How can I help your program? I believe I possess the work ethic, desire, commitment, willingness to listen, learn and be coached that will enable me to become a team member that will serve as a role model and help the team to achieve its goals.
In school, my favorite classes are math and science. In college, I plan to study engineering and my goal is to attend a college or university that will challenge me academically and provide the opportunity to play collegiate lacrosse. Academically, I am a member of the National Honor Society, my overall GPA is 3.52 and I have earned Honors every grading period since my Freshman year. Over the past few years, I've worked with a personal trainer and improved my agility, athleticism, speed and strength. My experience both in the classroom and on the field are driving me to seek out further education at an academically and athletically challenging college or university.
