Personal Statement

Hello my name is Jake Nugent. My collegiate goals are to get a degree in the medical sciences and further my education at medical school to become a doctor.  My career vision is to become an anesthesiologist. What makes me a good candidate for any team is I am a hard worker, I will never give up and I will always give 110% effort every second. What makes me different from other recruits is I always do what is being asked and I never slack off. I am different in athletics because I play with my speed, with quickness being my best attribute. I love to play fast! Finally I believe what separates me the most is my academics. I have the mindset that academics are the most important. My parents have installed in me that excelling in the classroom will lead to many opportunities. I hope these opportunities will allow me to play lacrosse in college. In short I would love a college that offers a great medical science program and will allow me to play lacrosse!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
