My goal is to make an impact at a college - academically, socially, and through my hard work and leadership on the lacrosse field. Good grades and athletic performance are very important to me. Playing a variety of sports over the years has given me a sense of comradary and pride -- from hurling in Ireland to basketball, baseball, golf, and now lacrosse and football. My goal as I search for a college is to find a great match where my lacrosse skills will benefit a team. The major I plan to pursue is Accounting/Finance, with a minor in Marketing/Communications or Economics. My experiences living in Michigan, Germany, Florida and Ireland by the time I was ten have been a huge foundation of who I am. As a result of adjusting to new environments, I have built resilience into my approach to new situations. My early experiences and ability to make connections and adapt to a new environment influenced my decision to transfer to a school that offered lacrosse my sophomore year. The sacrifice of changing schools and building a new network to play a sport I love at the high school level is one that I don't regret.
