Personal Statement
My name is Michael J. Frankenfield and I am from North Cape May, NJ. I will graduate in 2012 from Lower Cape May Regional High School. My primary position is attack.
To tell you more about myself, I am 5’11 and I weigh about 167 pounds. I am a (3)x varsity letterman and starter for my high school team and I have been playing lacrosse since the 5th grade.. As a student, I currently am an honor student with a very high GPA. During my sophomore year because of my leadership ability and work ethic, I was selected as one of the team captains and on completion of the season, I broke the single season school record for goals and points. For my season accomplishments I was awarded All-Conference Honorable Mention, MVP, Best Team Player, and the Coach's Award. I am presently a junior and once again I was selected as a captain for the season. This season, I finished with 43 goals and 15 assists and 58 points. I now hold the all time school record for goals, assists, and points. For this seasons accomplishments I was awarded Atlantic City Press 1st Team Al-Star, The Star Ledger State 3rd Team All-South Jersey All-Star , MVP, Best Team Player and the Coach’s Award. I work very hard during the season and just as hard during the off season, I am the first to get to the field and last to leave. In the classroom I work just as hard, I am an honor student and have taken AP and Honors classes. I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I would like to attend a college/university where I can push myself in the classroom as well as the field to be the best I can. By doing so, I believe I can set an example for others. I would be an asset for any program, both in and out of the classroom as well as on the field. My dream is to play college lacrosse. I wish to major in Criminal Justice and eventually work for the U.S Department of Justice as an FBI Agent.. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college/university match.
Please see attached link below to my NCSA recruiting profile and video, feedback is appreciated. Questions I have, are you recruiting attacks for 2012 and when do you like to start your 2012 recruiting. I would love the chance to discuss the possibility of being a part of your team in 2012. If there is anything I can do to help you decide whether I might be a good fit for your program, please don’t hesitate to ask. I will follow-up with you soon by phone and if you have any questions or need anything else from me, please let me know. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
