Motto: Practice lacrosse like there's somebody else out there that's training harder to kick your butt!
My name is Braedon Kukan and I’m a 17 year-old junior playing varsity at Jackson Memorial High School in New Jersey and play on Team 91 NJ South. I’m an honors student that’s very competitive on and off the field.
I have over 13 years experience as a competitive athlete. I started out in baseball but felt my strength and agility was being under utilized. I wanted a more physical challenge, which led me to lacrosse. My training at Mad Dog Lacrosse in Manasquan, NJ introduced me to the face-off position. I knew right then and there this was the position I wanted to play, this became my passion. During my transition into lacrosse, I put all my energy into training and understanding the fundamentals of the game.
As a freshman, I made the HS varsity team as a face-off specialist and mid-fielder. This gave me the opportunity to hone in on my skills and further understand the value of teamwork, leadership, commitment, and sacrifice. This led to joining the Leading Edge South NJ travel team, which merged with Team 91 NJ South. With tournaments in MD, NJ, PA, and NY, I faced-off against some of the best and took my game to the next level.
When I'm not playing lacrosse, I work part-time while studying game films, making highlight videos, and practicing my stick skills in the backyard with friends.
I’m looking to make an impact at a college that fits me both academically and athletically. I’m a quick learner with a great work ethic that wants to take my talent and skills to the collegiate level and beyond.
