Sport is a big part of my life. I have played football, hockey and lacrosse at a varsity or travel team level. While I have enjoyed every team and each experience has helped me to grow and learn; it is lacrosse that holds my true passion. I play goal. It is a great position. You are part of the team yet in many cases people see you as the last line of defense. In the end it comes down to you and the shooter. I first tried playing net as a 5 year old hockey player. I fell in love with the position and never thought about playing any other. Over time I came to understand how important concentration and focus is. It is both a technical and an athletic position. Two years ago I decided to leave hockey and concentrate fully on Football and Lacrosse. My goal is to play Lacrosse at a Collegiate level. This year I was made Captain and was named all conference and first team all state.
Education is important to me. My parents have always stressed that it is important to excel in everything we do. I want to win on the field but not at the expense of my grades. Currently I hold a 3.6 average and I am enrolled in honors and advanced placement courses. I also have enrolled in a college level course offered by my local college. I am working hard to ensure that academically I will be prepared for University and College.
My goal is to study and play NCAA Lacrosse at a great University. It s about finding a school and Lacrosse program with the best fit and where I can challenge myself to learn and grow.
