Personal Statement
Although I was a three sport athlete, being awarded the rookie of the year as a freshman playing varsity lacrosse, was the highlight of my career as of this point. Along with that, I was awarded for the most hours spent volunteering in the community through the youth lacrosse program. Weekly, I spent time with young children teaching them the skills and basics of lacrosse. I also volunteer many hours to the local youth basketball team. As a member of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) in school I’ve learned how to be responsible and publish myself as a role model through the internet and social media. I work as an HVAC Helper on my days off from school in order to raise money for my tuition and equipment. With a 3.4 GPA, I show skills in balancing sports, work and school.
Prior to high school, I spent 3 years playing club lacrosse and developing my skills with all different types of coaches and collegiate athletes.
I led my local team to an undefeated season with 12 wins in my eighth grade year. As a captain, my leadership and communication skills stand out from the average athlete. In the classroom, studying is a priority to keep my grades up and my academics strong.
