Personal Statement

I plan to major in Mechanical Engineering and earn a B.S. in that. After, I would like to get my masters in Aerospace Engineering. This would be a dream come true for me. I have another dream, though. It is to play college lacrosse. Through lacrosse, I have gained an impeccable work ethic. This work ethic will aid in the accomplishment of earning a degree. The same impeccable work ethic that will aid in my academics will help me strive for success in my athletics.
Another thing encouraging my success as a student athlete is my attitude. When I’m with my team, my brotherhood, I get hyped. Even midweek practices are my escape from the real world. I yearn for the time when I’m getting better with my team. I believe I bring a unique character to any team. I have fun while working hard. If you aren’t out there to work hard and get better than there is no reason for you to be out there in the first place.
I am very much looking forward to the college. It is an opportunity that not many people around the world get. But, what is even more exclusive is the collegiate lacrosse experience.

Faceoff Factory National Overnight Camp

I worked with Joe Nardella of Faceoff Factory and Matt Schomburg of Fogolax Academy. They also brought in special guest Mike Poppleton of the Rochester Rattlers to work with us. On the last day of the camp there was a tournament. I placed third of twenty-two.

John's Hopkins Lacrosse Camp
I participated in the camp in the summers of 2012 and 2014. In the summer of 2014, I won the faceoff tournament conducted during that session.

FaceOff Factory
The camp was held weekly for six weeks. I won the tournament they held five out of the six weeks. The sixth week they didn't have a tournament. The last two weeks the camp was held, I worked one on one with Joe Nardella and Brian Lenskold (both faceoff specialist for Rutgers University. Nardella got drafted by the Boston Cannons of the MLL in the 2014 draft) taking faceoffs against them and working on technique.

I was coached by Joe Nardella and Brian Lenskold. I won the weekly tournaments for about 5 weeks in a row (about 10 kids in each tournament). I was then working with Nardella and Lenskold one on one for two weeks.
