My name is Nick Del Grosso and I have been playing lacrosse since Kindergarten and have loved every minute of it. I always give 100% effort, no matter what. I work out regularly and train during the off season to make sure I am ready to go come spring. I am a very versatile and dedicated player, no matter the skill level. As a Freshman I played on Varsity taking face-offs and playing mostly D-Mid. I was asked to step up and take face-offs because of multiple injuries on Varsity. During my Freshman year I played in 16 games and was 2nd on my team in Ground Balls with 55, and Forced Turnovers with 14. My sophomore year was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. This year, my Junior year, we were able to have a shortened season and I was able to return to my regular position as Middie, playing mostly defensive Middie. Our team came in 2nd place in our conference and made it to the Semi-Finals in the Nassau County Championship. We had a successful season and I was named as an All-County - Honorable Mention. My goal is to play College Lacrosse for a school that fits my academic needs and has great school spirit. I think I would be a great addition to any team because of my speed, agility, versatility and heart.
