I have been playing lacrosse since I was 6. Playing grade school youth lacrosse, I always volunteered to play goalie. My teammates counted on me. As I grew, I realized it was the position I enjoyed most. When I first made my club team in 2021, I have wanted to play at the collegiate level. I have good footwork, soft hands and love to communicate with my defense. I recognize matchups and understand it is my responsibility on the field to have my defense always organized and aware. I am a coachable player and strive to make my teammates better.
Off the field, I study hard and maintain a good GPA. I put in extra studying hours after school and take advantage of my teachers offering help. I volunteer with my friends in promoting positive mental health amongst youth. Our organization, Team Sexy Potato, has brought an awareness to positive mental health in the greater Syracuse, New York area. We even donated $10,000 to a Syracuse Childrens Hospital.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself both academically and athletically. I am open to all options and want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
