Personal Statement

I take a train daily to and from Chaminade High School, which is 30 miles away from my home, then walk 2 miles to get to this school. I purposely chose a school which would challenge me academically and personally. I chose Mandarin Chinese as my language for high school because I see the benefits of this skill down the road, even though it is one of the most challenging classes I have ever taken.

I work hard on the field and in the classroom. I balance my academic and athletic careers and I realize that I am a Student-Athlete not an Athlete-Student.

I have accomplished all my goals that I have set out for myself and I plan on accomplishing many more in the future.

I believe that I have what it takes to play lacrosse in college and I will work to improve myself everyday.

With changes in the landscape of lacrosse and young players shift to the "club model" young players where super athletic and knew how to play the game really well from a team standpoint but the individual skill was not maybe as refined as it could be. The goal was to bring in the best young High School players, assemble a tremendous staff, and share our knowledge of the game and our vision for how success with the next generation. The end goal would be to speed the learning curve of the elite young players from High School to the NCAA level.
