My name is Chase Cook. I will be in the graduating class of 2019 at Davidson Day School, in Davidson, North Carolina. I play midfield and face-off for Davidson Day and for Team Carolina. Although lacrosse is my passion, academics is my top priority. I am proud of accomplishing a GPA of 4.05 and being on the Honor Roll or Headmaster's List every quarter of High School.
I started playing lacrosse for the Xtreme Lacrosse Program in Spring of 2013. In the Fall of 2014, I moved over to Top Tier and played with the U13 team. In the Spring of 2015, even though I was in eighth grade, I made the Davidson Day Varsity Lacrosse Team. I started as a midfielder and was the primary face-off specialist. In the Summer of 2015, I played on the Top Tier U15 Elite Team that won two tournament championships. In Fall 2015, I played up with the Top Tier High School 2016/2017 Elite Team and also won two tournament championships. In one year’s time, I was able to go from playing U13 to playing High School Lacrosse with Juniors and Seniors.
In Spring of 2016, I started for the Davidson Day Varsity Lacrosse Team as a midfielder and was the primary face-off specialist. For the Summer 2016 travel season, I played for the Top Tier High School Elite Team and won two tournament championships. I also played on the Charlotte 2019 All Star National Team. In the Fall of 2016, I joined Team Carolina and played on the 2019 National Team. At the Big 12 Fall Invitational in Baltimore, MD, I was selected to the 2019 All Star Team.
As I continue my high school years, I am excited about the opportunities to grow as a lacrosse player and as a student. I know being a great student athlete will help me achieve my ultimate goal of playing lacrosse in college.
