Nicholas Garza '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Nicholas  Garza.  I have been playing lacrosse for 10 years, starting at age 6 at on the Eastern Carolina Youth Lacrosse League with the New Bern Bruins (7 yrs) and  the Havelock Hornets (1).   I then played on a 3A  JV/Varsity team at New Bern High School my Freshman year, which was cut short due to Covid.  I then transferred to a private Catholic HS and played Varsity my Junior year.  I am currently playing with the Red Devil Travel Team,  Coastal Division,  based out of Raleigh, NC.  

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play collegiate lacrosse preferably  on a scholarship.  I am an aggressive and smart lacrosse player for 5’10 , 195 pound defender.  I am also very agile for a bigger boy.  It doesn’t matter what position I play, I will perform and give it my all.   What mostly makes me different from others is that I understand the game, I’m wicked strong, dedicated, coachable, and I am smart on and off the field.
