Personal Statement
I would like to attend a university that has a good Engineering program; currently I would like to explore a career within engineering or a health-related program. I am just uncertain of my career pathway right now. For the past several years, I have been an active participant in my Boy Scout group, Troop 395 and I recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.
My academic record, so far, has been strong. I made straight A's all three years in middle school and have been on the all A Honor roll my freshman, sophomore and junior years in high school. My current GPA is 4.4.
I play basketball with my friends but spend a lot of my time playing lacrosse for my club and high school team. In addition, I referee for Club events in my area and work with younger players as an assistant coach/helper during some skills-based camps in Holly Springs. I really enjoy playing lacrosse and have met a lot of friends across the Triangle by playing in various leagues and camps throughout my life.
