Alec Stalnaker '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alec Stalnaker. I am a junior at Canton Central Catholic High School in Canton Ohio.  I am dedicated to excelling in both academics and athletics.  In the classroom, I am currently enrolled in multiple honor level classes and have a cumulative GPA of 3.35.  In addition to the classroom I have spent time volunteering at the Canton Food Bank as well as various community service projects.  I have also maintained weekly work hours at Royal Docks, a local food establishment in an effort to develop a strong work ethic.  As for my athletic career, I have played lacrosse for the past 5 years, starting my career at Jackson Memorial Middle School and continuing it here at Canton Central Catholic.  I am currently 6'3" and 185 lbs.  I recently was timed in the 40 yard dash at 4.68.  I am a three year starter on the Canton Central Catholic varsity lacrosse team.  I have also earned letters in Cross Country, Track, Football, and Basketball.  Earning Team MVP in Cross Country as a Freshman and Sophomore, before earning a letter in Football and Basketball as a Junior.  This past year as a sophomore on the Crusader Lacrosse team, I averaged 3 goals per game and led the team in goals, face-off wins, and assists.  I also led the team in ground balls, accumulating 125+ ground balls for the season.  I have a top shot speed of around 90 mph.  For my efforts, I was awarded Offensive Player of the Year for the 2017 campaign.  I am looking to further my lacrosse career at the collegiate level.  I am a dedicated, hard worker, on and off the field; I will continue to show this over the next year of high school.  Finally, I'd like to say that I am committed to working hard and doing everything in my power to succeed.  Coaches, if you would like to contact me, please email me at [email protected] or direct message me at 330-806-7006.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
