Personal Statement

My goals about Collegiate Lacrosse are simple. I want to play, learn, lead - and be a great teammate. Lacrosse wasn't my first sport - but it's my love and passion. I made the change (from baseball) in the 8th grade and schools in 9th - and it was a "game changer" for me. Since that time - it's been an obsession, and I'm rarely without a stick in my hand.

My parent's had me and my brother change schools in my 9th grade year. As the "new kid" I found my home on the turf - with my boys on the team. I try to lead by example, and my coaches will tell you I work my ass off for them. Both on and off the field.

One thing about my academics - I'm getting much better. By the time I'm done with my Junior year, they will be better. I've been working with a tutor for my ACT (got a 21) and have a 504 for some academic help. Academically the trend is going way up... I know that I need to focus to achieve my goal of playing at the "next level".

Coach, if we have a conversation, here's what you'll find out about me as a player:

  • I will always work hard for you, the team, and the program.
  • My determination to get better and learn is not going to be beat
  • I can be a team leader for you - I've led peer groups before, and successfully
  • I want to learn - and get better both as a player and a person - I'm coach-able.
  • I HATE to lose

As a person:

  • Eagle Scout Candidate (finishing this year)
  • Youth Leadership Training Graduate
    • Staff Instructor
  • Have held multiple leadership roles
  • LifeGuard

Thank you for reading my profile - can't wait to hear from you and learn how I can contribute to your program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
