Jackson Intrieri '21 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a 3 sport athlete playing football, basketball and lacrosse. Playing all three sports has helped me realize that my passion is to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. Being a multi-sport athlete has provided me with a diverse skill set that makes me a better lacrosse player and I feel like I have a very high upside of what I can do on the lacrosse field in the years to come.  

I have started on the varsity lacrosse team both freshman and sophomore years and led the team in scoring while drawing the #1 D-pole from the opposing team each year. Sophomore year I totaled 30 goals and 38 assists as a sophomore for 68 points.  I was named Offensive Player of the Year and named to the Suburban One All Conference First team - attack.  The 2020 season would have demonstrated my ability to lead as a team captain and had a point tally that would have surpassed previous years.

I am a I believe that I am a good candidate for a collegiate team because I am a  team player and hard worker willing to do the things it takes for my teams to win.  I am a quick decision maker with excellent peripheral vision who understands the game and how to get my teammates involved. I am an accurate shooter and always look for the open player to make the right play.  Lastly, I am a player who is coachable, a leader and willing to learn.   In addition to Lacrosse, I am also the point guard for our school basketball team, as well as, wide receiver and defensive back for our football team.  I am also involved in clubs at my school and make the time to give back in my community.  I helped coordinate a food drive this past May for the Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard to help those with food insecurities during the pandemic.

My collegiate goals are to find a school that will challenge me both as an athlete and a student.  I am interested in a Business degree and know this will provide me a foundation for a successful career choice.
