The examples set by my parents and my sister were major factors in determining the person I have become. Their patience with me and their willingness to teach me the core values of honesty, hard work and dependability will continue to help me for the rest of my life.
I am passionate about playing lacrosse because it has shown me that I can be a leader and a teacher, traits that I use every time I step on the field. I have been fortunate to have the coaches I have had so far, they have taught me the value of being a student of the game not just a player. Learning the rules, the fundamentals, to respect my coaches, teammates and opponents and how to learn "in game" have proven to be very valuable to me, and I am grateful to them for teaching me these things.
I am looking for a college that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as, academically, and I am looking forward to being an active member of my college community.
In closing, I am about to begin the most challenging, exciting and rewarding part of my life. I am committed to working as hard as I can to ensure that I am physically, emotionally and spiritually prepared to not only succeed but to succeed with honor.
Sincerely,
Christian Cucinotta
