William Gray '26 Recruiting Profile

I started playing lacrosse around when I was 9. The lacrosse program was small, and I had to play up in the age group above me. However, over the years, my love for the sport expanded, along with the program, and lacrosse quickly became my favorite sport. 

I have good size and strength to push people around on the field, but still have the speed and stamina necessary for the sport. I have good stick skills, and am comfortable using my off hand. I lead my team by example, always trying my hardest and giving 100 percent. I'm not afraid to ask questions if I'm unsure, and like being coached about ways I can improve. 

I pride myself in my high GPA and always try my hardest in the classroom, pushing myself where ever I can. I also wrestled for the last ten years and was a varsity high school starter at 189 pounds in my freshman year and now the varsity 215 pound starter my sophomore year. This sport has giving me grit, work ethic, and explosive power.

I'm looking to play at the highest level I can, while still being at a good school that will set me up for my future and include my interest in math, science, and engineering.
