Garret Transue '19 Recruiting Profile

I hope my college years will include playing lacrosse.  I look forward to attending college to pursue my academic goals and majoring in biology as well as my athletic goals of playing lacrosse.  I have several ideas of how to utilize my biology degree and hope to either teach or pursue a veterinarian license.  I am currently taking AP and honors classes to prepare me for my academic college experience.  As for athletics, I played football starting in a youth program and continuing into high school.  Then I took a chance and went out for lacrosse my freshman year, and I finally felt like I found the sport for me.  It was everything I was looking for and more.  My experience playing basketball and football prepared me for some of the skills I would need on the lacrosse field. I am a leader on my team, a positive influence on my team and always respectful.  I hope to experience all I can at college and get both an academic and athletic experience.
