Personal Statement
My GPA is a 3.58 and I am looking to attend a school where I can find a balance between my academics and my passion for lacrosse. My goal everyday is to go out on the lacrosse field and work hard, and train harder then the guy next to me. I worked hard to earn a starting midfield position on my high school varsity lacrosse team as a freshman. Not only did I letter, I was the leading scorer on my team. I know what its like to sacrifice free time to train for my future and I am prepared for that journey.
I am ready to take both my education and my lacrosse to the next level. Like my coach says, "Without pressure, there would be no diamonds." I thrive on pressure, and I enjoy the competition, it only makes you stronger. Because of that drive, I strive to be the best, and my ability to move the ball and ride the crease has set me apart from that of my peers. My strengths as an attackman /midfielder go beyond my years of experience. My stick work, feeds, shooting, handling, vision of the field, toughness all make me threat to my opponent. I use my size to my advantage, and my ability to shoot from the outside corners makes me a dynamic offensive weapon.
I believe that the most important characters for one to have are honor and integrity. I come from a family of civil service workers (Fire Department, Police Department, & military.) I have been trained to display my honor with everything that I do. From my academics, and social activities, to my athletics, I always take pride and do my best. When it comes to integrity, say what you mean and mean what you say. Follow through and dedication to complete the task at hand and remember that integrity is consistency, not a one time deal.
