Evan Petrecz '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Evan Petrecz and I live in Southeast Pennsylvania near Valley Forge. I attend Archbishop John Carroll High School and have a cumulative GPA of 91 and my weighted GPA is 4.65.  All of my classes are honors.  School comes first, but sports are a large part of who I am and are very important to me. I am a dual sport athlete and have played soccer since 4th grade and lacrosse since 8th grade. I also played basketball through elementary and middle school.
As a junior, I continued to play varsity soccer and lacrosse.  I play mainly attack, but have also played Midfield and am a versatile player that can defend, clear, ride, assist and score. I can analyze the defense, have good offensive vision and speed. I’m a dominant left-hand shooter who can also shoot well with my right.  I play club lacrosse year-round for True Philly club Lacrosse. I competed in the True Recruiting Cup Showcase in June and was selected to play and start in the All-Star game. I would love to continue to play lacrosse at the collegiate level and am open to all options but prefer to find a college/university that’s right for me.  I am also primarily focused on East Coast schools, but would entertain conversations with coaches in other areas of the country.  I am interested in majoring in mechanical engineering, science or business and welcome the opportunity to talk to you about your program, team and school.
