I am a 5' 11" midfielder and attackman from Austin, Texas, and I will graduate high school in the 2020 class. I am currently in my junior year. For the past two years I have started on the varsity lacrosse team and played club with Iron Horse Lacrosse. I was also a member of the varsity cross country team for two years. In my sophomore season I was the leading scorer on my team with 39 goals and 15 assists and was awarded All-District honors in the Texas High School State Lacrosse League and 1st Team All-Conference honors in the Southwest Preparatory Conference while leading my team to its best record in school history. I have been selected to be a captain of the varsity team for my junior year. I have a 3.9 GPA and I am in all honors courses. I plan to take the SAT in January.
I am looking for an institution where academics are the top priority but where lacrosse is also taken seriously. I am interested in an institution that has very high academic standards where I am well set up for life after college and lacrosse. Ideally, the institution I am seeking is a small to mid-size school. I am interested in studying political science, foreign affairs, psychology, law, or medicine. I hope for my athletic environment to be one where I can either make an impact immediately or make an impact within two years of being on the team.
