Samuel Irvin '20 Recruiting Profile

For the first part of my lacrosse career, the sport did not appeal to me very much.  It was the joy I experienced playing with my teammates in those early days that drew me to keep playing.  I have played many different sports, from baseball to football to tennis and golf, but when it comes to the team itself, I have never experienced a greater sense of team camaraderie and brotherhood than what I have experienced on my many lacrosse teams.  As the years progressed and my skills improved, the game appealed to me in a different light and has become a big part of my life.  I have come to really appreciate the game's many complexities and I have a lot of fun playing it and playing it with my teammates.  I want to continue my lacrosse career in college and play on a higher competitive level and continue to enjoy the team camaraderie that I have always known and love.
