Personal Statement
I've been playing Lacrosse since the 1st Grade and ever since then I've fallen in love with the game. I have good stick skills and can play with both hands.
I aspire to the best player that I can possibly be. I want to do whatever it takes to push myself to give my coach, my teammates, and my team everything that I can. I apply this train of thought to everything that I do in order to be the best me that I can.
Growing up in a small town where lacrosse is unheard of was a difficult hurdle to get over. My first year moving out to Liberty Hill I missed a season because the team I wanted to play on didn't exist. Although this was a challenge I still pushed through and worked hard. Everything I've learned about face-off and shooting, I had to teach myself or have my dad help me (and he's never played in his life). Moving on to the next level, I think I will have the opportunity to get the coaching I never had before.
I am very coach-able, I listen and learn from those around me in order to better myself as a person, a player, and a student.
As a student I have a 4.0 GPA and have played football as a Center, a Tide end, a Fullback, a Nose-guard, a Defensive End, and both inside and outside Linebacker because that's what my team needed me for. I will always set aside my personal interest in order to benefit the team.
I look forward to contributing to help growing a successful team.
