For me college is way more than just athletics but it is a way to prepare you for the real world. Personally I set high standards for myself whether that be academically, or athletically. In college I hope to make my four years there the best four years of my life because the resources are endless. I hope to play college lacrosse, and receive acknowledgment after college for my academics. I hope to make a name for myself in this world and I will do so by going to college and working harder than anyone around me. What makes me different from other candidates is how involved I am. I am an A student with a 3.9 GPA, and I am involved in class council, student government, and I am the vice president of my class. My main goal is to grow personally by helping those around me whether it be helping a student with problems, or making sure my team is physically prepared for the upcoming season. As long as athletics goes I am constantly getting as many repetitions on the wall as I can, whether that be being at school at 6:00 A.M. or after hockey practice, I also spend a lot of my off time running, or working in the weight room. I attend a club team that is 1 hour and 45 minutes away from my house and I have attended 49 out of 50 practices which shows my commitment to my team and the sport. I believe that my story and my work habits are unique and that is why I would be a good fit at your college.
