Personal Statement
Dear Coaches,
I am Christian Margita and I am interested in continuing my lacrosse career throughout my future college experience. I aspire to hopefully one day be a behavioral analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation or FBI and am interested in studying psychology. I would be a good candidate to be considered for your team as I have shown leadership through my high school career and listen to coaches instructions and especially tips or help as those are what’s going to make me a better player. When compared to other student athletes I differentiate in that I completely understand the boundaries and time between putting work in and when we can have fun, as a collegiate level player you need to work hard and be focused but that does not mean it can’t be fun during the process but there is a time and place for it. On the field I set myself apart by my drive as I hustle for every groundball, every face-off, every loose ball, don’t give up on a play, I also try not to be a one man team but instead try to do whatever I believe will most benefit the team whether it is for me to take the ball and shoot or for me to pass the ball off to a teammate who will score. During the winter season I participate in indoor track and field for my high school even making it to districts my sophomore year, I consider it an excellent way to keep in shape for spring lacrosse season but also a fun and enlightening experience as how running is beneficial to health and overall fitness, it also allows for me a time to think and communicate with my peers while also doing something I enjoy which is simply running.
