Personal Statement
My first memory of lacrosse was in Middle school when my friend brought a lacrosse stick to recess. I was confused about how the stick was used in the game but as soon as I put a lacrosse stick in my hand I knew I wanted to play. I rapidly improved throughout my first year and have continued to improve my game ever since. I leverage my speed and dodging ability to burst past defenders behind the net. Dodging and feeding are my strong points as an attackman but I can also make plays on my own thanks to the shooting work that I have done in the off season.
My goals are to continue to improve at lacrosse and to help my team get to the championship. I am a hard worker and bring a light-hearted positive attitude that makes my teammates remember that even though we are playing to win, we also want to have fun doing it. I play with enthusiasm and flat-out love the sport.
I yearn for new knowledge and enjoy going to school each day to get smarter and more prepared for the competition I will face in the job market. I aspire to attend a prestigious college that will challenge me in the classroom as well as on the lacrosse field.
