I consider myself to be a hardworking, caring, and resilient person. While I was at my old school (I attended from 3rd grade to 2nd quarter 7th grade), I was falling behind on my grades. But I started to meet with my teachers, go over missed questions, and I eventually got my grades back up. I am caring in that I volunteer at my local animal shelter, the SPCA, and enjoy my time there. And last but not least, I am resilient. I never let a bad grade stop me from working hard, or a concussion stop me from having fun. But the hardest one was that I didn't let bullies, who I thought were my friends, stop me from interacting with the other children at my new school.
Recently I was accepted into Bellarmine College Prep, although my friends decided to go to other schools. I was able to earn an award from Serra High School, another school which I applied, for my GPA, interview, and being in the 94th percentile nationally on the High School Placement Test.
