Sebastian Marulanda '27 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I first picked up an oar, rowing has challenged me to push beyond limits — mentally and physically. I am currently a sophomore, competing in both sculling and sweep boats, and recently pulled a 6:54.5 2k (a long way from a painful 7:34 my freshman year). I am dedicated to constant improvement, both on and off the water, balancing a full academic schedule while training year-round.

I take pride in being a disciplined, coachable athlete who thrives under pressure and embraces teamwork. Whether it’s early morning practices, erg sessions, or regatta weekends, I bring intensity and focus to everything I do.

My goal is to continue growing as a rower and student, competing at the highest collegiate level. I’m excited to find a program where I can contribute to a strong team culture, push my limits, and represent my school with pride.
